img2prompt is a Chrome extension developed by 10sorlabs. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

What we collect

When you use img2prompt, the following data is processed:

Screenshots you paste into the extension. These are sent to our server and forwarded to an AI vision model to generate a prompt. Images are not stored after the request is complete.
Your license key. Stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. Sent with every request to verify your subscription.
Your email address. Collected at the time of purchase via Stripe and stored in our database, used to deliver your license key and send essential account communications.
Usage count. We track how many prompts you have generated in the current billing period to enforce your subscription limit.

What we do not collect

We do not store the screenshots or images you submit.
We do not collect browsing history or any data from pages you visit.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.

Third-party services

img2prompt uses the following third-party services to operate:

xAI (Grok) — processes the images you submit to generate prompts. Subject to xAI's privacy policy.
Stripe — handles payment processing and subscription management. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
Resend — used to send transactional emails (license key delivery). Subject to Resend's privacy policy.

Data storage

Account data (email, license key, usage count) is stored in a secured database hosted on Render in the EU (Frankfurt region). Data is retained for as long as your subscription is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
